Custom Built Rocket System

Designed, built, and successfully launched a small rocket system. Built completely from scratch. Components included a custom parachute, launch pad, on-board camera system, ignition system, motor mount, and airframe. Experimented with various materials, construction techniques, and motor chemical makeup. Made custom calculations taking into account for wind resistance, average mass, and airframe volume. Achieved maximum velocity of 390mph and altitude of 1300ft.
